Anne Marie and James (Jim) P. Hynes are committed to supporting education that broadens vision and equips learners with problem-solving skills. The Foundation reflects the family's strong belief in the power of charitable giving and its impact on society. The Foundation is based in Connecticut and its four officers will work together to identify and develop their future giving activites.

The Foundation
Anne Marie Hynes Esq., as President, is responsible for day-to-day management and implementation of the organization's projects. With input from the three other officers, The Foundation aims to develop and implement projects that fulfill its mission. The goal is to create awareness of opportunities, offer guidance in specific areas and lead by example. "We hope that by funding projects that enrich people's lives that we can encourage others to use our initiatives as a model to create impact in their own communities."
Jim Hynes, will serve as Vice President. His personal experience as a successful systems and technology entrepreneur with global experience launching new companies was a key part of the inspiration for the Foundation's founding gift. "The impetus behind the Foundation's initial project is the development of The Hynes Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The primary purpose of this donation is to provide an experiential educational experience that will be transformative in students' lives."
